I borrowed the scn Big Bully map. Military records show this was an alternative landing site considered in the US Landing on Sicily on Sept 23 of 1943. While hypothetical it is based on units used in the real Sicily landing and Axis units stationed in the area. While many of the German units had left the island for mainland Italy shortly after the Sept landings, it is possible had they landed in Mazara that an encounter with this unit make-up would have happened.
