D-Day was now 2 days old and the Allies were looking to invade Southern France within weeks. However, the bulk of the invasion fleet had to pass a German-held island that contained massive artillery batteries. The decision was a foregone conclusion: the island had to be neutralized.

Surprisingly, despite the glaring exaggerations there is a competitive battle to be had. Allies need to wait for the arrival of their reinforcements to make a combined attack of infantry and armor.
