Marnach, Luxembourg: [Best played as Axis] The US 110th Inf. regimant, 28th Inf. Division guarded a 15 mile front behind the River Our. It faced three German divisions, the 2nd Panzer, Panzer Lehr and 26th Volksgrenadier Divisions, at odds of more than 10 to 1. Unable to man a continuous defensive line, the regiment occupied several company-sized road blocks on the roads leading up from the Our. Particulary important was Marnach, through which ran the best roads to Bastogne. The Panzergrenadiers of 304th PzGr Regiment were to attack the well defended village.
