Eddekhilo, 40km W of Tunis, Tunisia: [Best played against Human opponent] The American GIs, who landed along the coast of North Africa in 1942, were well trained but lacking in the most important element to combat troops, battle experience! But the price of that experience would not come cheap. On November 25th, Lt. Colonel Waters' 1st Battalion, 1st US Armored Regiment (attached to Blade Force) was given the mission of creating a "tank-infested area" in the Tine Valley southeast of Mateur while reconnoitering the bridges across the Medejerda River at El Bathan and Djedeida. The eager American tankers of C Company quickly turned their reconnaissance into a raid against the newly activated Axis airfield at Djedeida, destroying twenty or more enemy planes before retiring back to the Tine Valley through Chouigui Pass. Word of the exploits of the US light tanks quickly reached German headquarters. On the morning of the 26th, Colonel von Broich ordered a small kampfgruppe with elements of the 11th Para Engineer and 190th Panzer battalions, to advance from Mateur and drive the pesky Americans from the valley.

Needs some play balance. Suggest either the Allied player moves first and/or give the Allied player an infantry company.

Excellent 'chess match' design

With a nearly 2:1 ratio of Axis versus Allied wins, this scenario is unbalanced. German OOB has superior AFVs (firepower + range) + infantry versus Allied Stuarts + \"some\" artillery assets. Once Axis secure a few victory hexes, they are essentially guaranteed a Minor Victory. Allied OOB needs a few infantry platoons and better armor in this battle. Not recommended in human vs. human play.
