Airborne Overlord - The Matrix Games version of West Front

82nd and 101st Airborne drop and struggle for their objectives on the first night of the invasion of Europe. Pathfinder Platoons of each Division drop early to secure and mark the Drop Zones, but cloud and flak scatter the drops. Secure the exits from Utah Beach, bridges and Ste Mere Eglise. Before dawn, a task force from 4th Cav lands to secure the Isles St Marcouf. As German commander, use the two weak divisions in the area to thwart the Allied plan, and ensure the reinforcements from the 6th Parachute Regiment counter-attack vigorously.
