Abucay Hacienda, 6km W of Abucay, 50km WNW of Manila, Luzon, Philippines: [Best played against Human opponent] Japan's 14th Army began the battle for Bataan in the Philippines on 9 January 1942, with a tremendous artillery barrage, pounding the Allied I and II Corps' positions. Stretching inland from the western shore of Manila Bay, General Wainwright had positioned his battered American and Philippine Army formations in the first of several defensive positions named the Abucay Line on the right and the Mauban Line anchored on the South China Sea. By the middle of the month General Nara commanding the Japanese eastern forces, realized that his hopes of a quick victory were fading as Allied resistance stiffened. A breakthrough had to be achieved soon! The bulk of the 141st/65 Infantry Regiment was ordered to shift inland from its position on the East Road running along the coast to support a strike on the western flank of the Abucay Line. As the sun rose on the 15th, Colonel Imai ordered his crack battalions to begin the attack through a morning fog across the shallow Balantay River against the 51st PA Regiment.

A fun scenario that finds the invading IJA moving thru the Philippine brush towards the high VP objective..the Abucay Hacienda... a very tough objective to take..not impossable, but if the PA Army defends it right very hard to crack.
