On the day before Christmas 1941 remnants of the Philippine Army 26th Cavalry were chased into a empty Villasis and then across the Villasis-Carmen bridge by elements of Gen. Tsuchibashis 4th Tank Regiment. The Philippine Armies 11th Infantry Division were dug in from Carmen all the way South to Bayambang. Also, moving up Route 13 on their way to Carmen were the USAFFE 194th Tank Battalion. The USAFFE 192nd Tank Battalion was still northwest of Villasis.......but retreating South. Japanese Gen. Tsuscibashi sent the First and Second Formosa Infantry Regiments alongside the 4th Tank Battalion into Carmen. A heavy Japanese Air attack that morning around Carmen helped pave the way. Based on History with a few Liberties taken to enhance gameplay.

Great map, interesting forces. Should produce some hard fighting. One of the better custom scenarios I've seen. Play as Allies for a definite challenge. One of the few scenarios with lots of Japanese armor.

A very tense scenario with lots of options and second guessing your opponents intentions...and even outguessing yourself.
Smedley
A brutal fight with the action channeled into the bridges over the Agno.

Axis player needs supreme courage and skill to attempt bridge crossing! Look for lots of armor wrecks and infantry losses!

Scenario favors Axis, but a skilled and careful Allied player can even the odds. Nice variety of forces and a beautiful map make for a good game!

If you like armor-on-armor Pacific theatre style...this one's for you. The amount of available Japanese leaders in this battle tip the play balance slightly over to the Axis.

Agony was a good word that fit my experience. Too many Japanese tanks, leaders, and indirect artillery.\r\nMay be a candidate for Extreme Assault to slow down the Japanese hordes.

Really like this scenario. Japanese have a tough task, but a lot of armor.

The Americans get pushed around, but the victory levels account for that.
