Perekop Peninsula, the Crimea, 190km N of Sevastopol: [Best played against Human opponent or as Allied] The promotion of General Erich von Manstein over the entire 11th German Army brought with it a nearly impossible task. With 6 infantry divisions and a few pieces of armor, he was to conquer the Crimea. Facing him were at least eight Soviet rifle divisions and four cavalry divisions with various armor formations. Pleas for more troops were ignored and Manstein set about completing the difficult job before him. After breaking through the Russian lines north of Perekop with heavy losses, units of the 105th Infantry Regiment come under attack by tank and horse cavalry attached to the Soviet 51st Army defending the Crimea!

Reddog
The Allied player really has a tough fight in this one with very weak infantry type troops and an unusually small number of artillery units.

Huib Versloot
One sided affair due to the low defense values of the cavalry. They were wiped out and contributed negatively to the Russian effort. Not an appealing design as far as map layout is concerned.
Mike Abberton
Rating was done with the original Matrix v1.03 assault rules, which really hampered the Allies.
Big Dawg
Go West young man.
