Red Hunting - The Matrix Games version of East Front II

Aleksandrokva, 20km SW of Odessa: [Best Played vs Human Opponent]: During the night of September 15th the Russian 2nd Cavalry Division shortened it's frontline by pulling out of Aleksandrovka. The new frontline was situated between Sparcakovka and Kleyn Libental. Elements of the 77th MG Fortress Battalion and Cavalry Regiment were still defending positions in towns now behind Rumanian lines along the Black Sea coast. These units were to advance up the coast and free themselves, a diversionay attack on Aleksandrovka would keep the Rumanians at bay. Elements of the Rumanian 7. Cavalry Brigade was the first in the line and preparing new defences when the Russian Cavalry attacked. The remainder of the Division had been moving up the coast, clearing stragglers from the new frontline.
