Orsha, Russia: [Best Played vs Human Opponent or as Team Game]: After the aborted attempt at crossing the Dnepr River, the 17. Panzer Division was order to cross the river further south at Kopys where the 29. Motorized Division. After crossing the river, the lead elements, containing tanks of 39. Panzer Regiment and infantry of 63 Motorized Rifle Regiment, were to advance north and clear the east bank of the Dnepr including the southern suburbs of Orsha. This would seal a potential escape route for the 5th Mechanized Corps had they wanted to withdrawal east from Orsha. In the midst of undertaking the task, the Kampfgruppe was in for a surprise.
