Description: The Turkish 1st Armored Brigade has now taken the lead in the advance on Sofia. Its lead battalion races forward to seize the mountain passes through which Highway A1 passes. An airborne unit will be landed by helicopter ahead of the armored battalion to help seize the first mountain pass.*

GAME NOTES: This battle covers the Turkish attack only on the first mountain pass - the one with the victory objectives. The Turkish player should call off his advance and withdraw from the pass if he loses 15 tanks. The assault on subsequent passes is in a separate scenario.*
