With almost every shot one of my units would go up in smoke!

It seems a little heavy on the Air for the NATO side. Once they have been used up or destroyed it is a real challenge for the Nato player to gain ground. If the Nato player can use the air wisely it could be a very one sided affair but overall it is an ok scenario.

Either the WG player has to be playing a completely new player or he has to be incredibly lucky not to suffer a crushing defeat. This game is poor for PBEM. The draw was agreed upon as it was an easy EG win.

For two evenly matched players, this is an easy win for EG. WG has a small force and if you are not careful you'll lose your air assets very quickly and that'll be that for the rest of the battle.

Perhaps a good 'realistic' blocking scenario, but when not payed as part of a campaign, it's not a good PBEM scenario by itself unless EG player is very inexperienced, and WG has some skills.
