Awesome for the Soviets, much better than the movie starring George Dzundza and bearing the same title. At least we don't have a single tank platoon without any support or cover to assault an Afghani kishlak.

That was a wrong report - in fact the Soviets won decisively here, reaching the tanks that must have thrown its track and preventing the bandits from overrunning the repair group.
