Decision at Lindse. - SB-WW2 Mod

[Day 5; April 17, 1940] [Lindse Farms north of Dovre Church] [Designed for H2H play but play against the A/I is possible with the human player as the Norwegians. Suggest using Variable Game Ending] [Uses Frozen Terrain Mod] As part of a planned paratroop drop days earlier elements of the 1st Battalion, 1st Regiment of the 7th Flieger Division fell upon the Dombas region but were widely scattered. As they attempted to consolidate they were hit with coordinated attacks by Norwegians of the Infantry Regiment 11. After a day or so of heavy fighting, the Fallschirmjager gave up their attempt to secure Dombas and instead moved south to find a more defensible position covering the main north-south road and rail line. This they found at an area known as Lindse Farms. They immediately began to fortify the position around the farm expecting a Norwegian attack at some point. They didn't have long to wait as on Day 4 the Norwegians attacked in force but were thrown back in disarray including the capture of Major Alv Kjos, the Norwegian commander leading the attack! On Day 5 a renewed attack by the Norwegians made the situation dire for the Fallschirmjager's as ammunition was becoming very low. But late in the morning JU-52's flying in low succeeded in dropping supplies and ammo to the beleaguered German troops and they were able to hold off the Norwegian attack. But the German success was short lived as by the end of the battle on Day 5, the Fallschirmjager's were surrounded. The final day ahead would be a different story indeed...
