Scenario Briefing: Boltuc's attack in the vicinity of Lowicz amounted to nothing. After making some progress, the 4th, 16th, and 26th Infantry divisions were obliged to retreat back across the Bzura after suffering heavy casualties. Boltuc's group repulsed ill-coordinated German attacks on the 15th but continued to take losses. Meanwhile, a serious situation developed to north, where 19th Infantry Division, opposed only by Polish reconnaissance elements, established a bridgehead between Sochaczew and Patoki. 8th Army, now reinforced by two Panzer divisions, was preparing to mount its own offensive to crush the Poznan and Pomorze armies. 1st Panzer joined 19th Infantry Division in the bridgehead south of Sochaczew while 4th Panzer Division affected its own crossing of the Bzura north of Sochaczew. On the morning of September 16th, the Panzers, with plenty of support from artillery and air assets, went into action as the Battle of the Bzura entered its final stage.

Recommended Rules: (Default)
Alternative Assault Resolution, Artillery Set Up, Recon Spotting, Virtual Supply Trucks, Optional Surrender, Low Visibility Air Effects, Quality Fatigue Modifier, Counter Battery Fire, Night Fatigue, Programmed Weather.

Additionally, Delayed Disruption Reporting will provide a more challenging experience for the attacking player.

Design Notes:

1. Victory conditions are almost entirely dependent on force destruction. The German player must inflict significant losses in order to the win. The Polish player may deprive the German of victory by evacuating a substantive part of his force through the exit hexes in the Kampinos Forest on the eastern map edge.
