Scenario Briefing: The first attack on the Shimbu Group to the east of Manila had only netted minor territorial gains and at a high cost. For the next big push more forces of the 6th Infantry and 1st Cavalry Divisions would be called upon. The 43rd Division would also begin to relieve the 1st Cav as well sending its 103rd RCT to relieve the 2nd Cavalry Brigade on the 11th of March.

The attack succeeded in driving the Okita Detachment north up towards Mt. Tanauan and opening up the road to the south along the north shore of the Laguna de Bay. Still another attack would be needed in late March to unseat the Naguchi Force from their position protecting the left flank of the Kobayashi Force.

Notes:
On the 0400 turn of March 12th, the entire 2nd Cavalry Brigade is withdrawn from the map. The Allied player should make a note to use the 1st Cavalry Brigade and 103rd RCT to relieve this formation by the afternoon of March 11th.
