Scenario Briefing:The US 160th Regimental Combat Team was tasked with taking Lafe Hill along with several other hills nearby. Lafe Hill had a cliff to its immediate front so Hill 500 was chosen as the first objective. Once the 160th RCT had taken that feature then they could branch out and take Lafe Hill and the rest of the defensive positions.

Defending on the hill were elements of the Takayama Detachment. Supporting them was two batteries of artillery. The Allies had airpower to help them with the attack.

The 160th's fight was difficult but by the end of the 26th they had cleared the hills and along with the 108th RCT they were ready to advance to the west and south and take Clark Field.
