Scenario Briefing: This scenario covers efforts of the XXIV Corps on Leyte Island in the Dulag-Dagami area during October from the landings until the seizure of Dagami and the airfields. The Allies would spend most of October getting ashore and fighting against the tenacious Japanese.
Catamon Hill dominated the coastal area and would only fall once the position had been surrounded by the US 96th Division and its defenders evacuated after many days of bombardment and assault. The airfields would be taken by the US 7th Division who would then swing north and press on to Dagami.
