Vorohnezh Front on the south face of the Kursk Bulge, July 10th 1943: After a week of grinding forward through the stifling Soviet defenses, Hausser's II SS Panzer Korps was pressed to begin a hasty attack toward Prokhorovka piecemeal with the forces they had at hand. The German tide at the Battle of Kursk was at hand, coming to a climax when tanks of the 5th Guards Tank Army clashed in a melee of massive scale in what would be the largest tank battle in the world. [Size, medium] NOTE - same as 0710_01 with easier to attain victory levels.

had a great time

Great scenario. Lots of tanks, lots of aircraft and evenly balanced I think. When the Russians started their counter attack about 2/3 through, German reinforcements and carpet bombing were key to holding the ground that had been captured to maintain victory.

Great scenario. Lots of tanks and well balanced. Second time playing it, once as the Germans and once as the Russians.

This seems like a very tough go for the Russian player.

as the defender, use terrain, attempt to fatigue the German units by constant single attacks to thwart their recovery. Take a longer term view, you will not be able to score a knockout blow.
