Northern Germany, June 10th 1985: Shots rang out all along the frontier as units of the Warsaw Pact began crossing into West Germany. The first NATO organized resistance came in this sector where elements of the 6th Panzer Grenadier Division were tasked with the protection of the province of Schleswig-Holstein and the land gateway to Denmark. The first major city in the west, Hamburg, lay before the advancing 94th Guards Motorized Rifle, but the big cities did not matter to Soviets. The dual task of this division was to secure the bridges over the Elbe, at Geesthacht and over the Neetze Canal, before the division was to turn northward leading the drive into Denmark. [Size: small] Designer Note: This scenario uses an exit hex for the WP Forces. Play as NATO Human vs. AI.

Very amusing, but the WP commander needs to divide his aims and avoid neglecting the necessity to press forward rather than allowing himself to be fully drawn into a developing battle. In this meeting engagement the NATO must be constantly kept off balance and unsure what combination of objectives and priorities the reds are pursuing.
