Sokch'o area, the east coast of Korea, June 18th 1985 [D+3]: The war is proceeding well for North Korea in the west as units advance towards Seoul. However, in the east the conflict has slowed to a crawling war of attrition. As ROK forces begin to fall back on the Taebaek Mountains around Sokch'o, they are prepared to make a defiant stand and prevent a North Korean breakthrough. Holding the enemy here will secure the eastern flank for a future allied counter offensive in the west. [Size: medium] Designer's notes: Explicit supply is possible.

A real nail-biter. South Koreans probably have enough artillery to keep the North Koreans from getting too far, but on the other hand, their defensive line is liable to get chewed up with no reserves in sight.
