Huerta to Salamanca 21-22 July 1812 - Variant scenario using
gun sections,10 minute turns and with stacking and cavalry charge
factor reduced to enhance British linear tactics. This scenario starts at the point when Marmont's troops have crossed the Tormes at Huerta, forcing Wellington to leave Salamanca and move his troops south of the river to prevent the French from cutting his communications with Ciudad Rodrigo. The French have exit hexes on the left map edge to represent this, but they might prefer to win by defeating the enemy and recapturing Salamanca instead. The Allies will need to hold onto their objectives and protect the exit hexes to prevent a French victory, but they will also want to inflict heavier losses on the enemy.
