11 August 1796 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This is the historical battle of Neresheim where Charles lured Moreau into crossing the Danube and thus separating the latter's French army from Jourdan to the north. For a historical overview see the "RBR_Battles.pdf" file found in the main game folder. A good challenge for both sides. Each player has about the same number of forces. Souham's forces are on the march as the scenario begins.

Lots of early maneuver with limited visibility due to terrain. Whoever can find the enemy and mass his forces the fastest has a big advantage.

Nice medium length scenario with plenty of options for maneuver. French need to withstand the early Austrian attacks and then gather their forces and counterattack.

I found this scenario unplayable HTH in its present state but with a few tweaks it could be better both historically and for game balance. Changing the starting victory conditions to a draw from a French major victory and changing the release time for the late releasing Allied batteries and commander would help a bit and raising the value the uppermost objective on the map might be advised.
