This is the stock scenario March to Hagerstown modified, It's 100k+ Federals, versus 60k+ Confederates, all starting on map. You can fight at South Mountain and delay while Lee pulls his Army together at Antietam. You can make a dash for the Potomac Fords and defend on the south shore, or try and take the fight to Hooker near Hagerstown. He might have a thing or two to say about it.

If the Confederates choose to fight early I think they will be overwhelmed and defeated in detail. If they choose to pull back and fight along Antietam Creek or even the Potomac the pendulum swings back in their favor. Doing the later requires patience and a lot of turns marching and deploying, not a lot of people's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. I have encouraged the author of the Mod to expand the scenario to 2 days. Sharpsburg should have been a 2 day affair, but Mac lost his nerve.
