The US player has to be careful to form a firebase in order to grind down the lower-morale Cubans. If not, he can find his bulldozer(substitute tank) immobilised and most of his units shot up while trying to cross the bridge.

I feel that the US has a distinct advantage if he stays aggressive in his advance.
Any scenario where you get Clint Eastwood and a bulldozer is a good one.
