Very well done and fun scenario. Classic infantry tactical scenario!
"Ideals are peaceful. History is violent."
The GIs have too much to overcome in this scenario - German MGs, infantry guns, and 12 - 24 defense strength buildings. The one Sherman tank is the only real US offensive asset and if it gets immobilized or destroyed, the American does not have a chance. Not a fun scenario for the US player.
