After securing LZ eagle and surrounding areas. 3rd/5th moved up from LZ Blue Jay and Robin to objective Foxtrot in order to pin the 21st NVA agains the Ly Ly River and cut off any escape routes. The VC fled East towards Que Son and were able to escape but not without severe losses.
