An Excerpt from the Scenario Depot "This is a fight for survival. The British force is out numbered, out gunned, and surrounded. They have parachuted scattered and missing all heavy weapons. Their radios don’t work. Even worse, they only have a quarter of the troops that should be there. Amazingly, they still think they can accomplish their mission!"

It would be a lot better with some changes to victory conditions to make holding the bridge key to victory. In addition, the Allied player needs some MGs and arty to make defending possible in the face of overwhelming odds and vastly superior German firepower - MG42 + mortars vs sten guns = no contest :-)

Nice variety of options as attacker - various avenues of attack - some nasty choke points.
"But I don't want to see CM's code or any games code. That is like seeing your spouse and your love as hormones and neurons firing in various lobes on PET scans. Some things should just be enjoyed for what they are; and not analyzed any further.

Favors the Germans and the stronger player definitely needs to take the British side.

***** Possible Spoiler Alert ****

I don't think that the Brits can win this scenario, as they only have light weapons and they are going against superior numbers with superior fire-power from all sides.

Also the British exit zone area comes in way too deep into the map area. It should really be hugging the edge of the map. This flaw I believe is what let me eke out a draw as my opponent saw me stacking up my troops along the edge of a levee near the river crossing, probably expecting that I had to then cross about 150 m of water and exposed ground to exit the map. He was surprised when all of my men almost disappeared instantly as I sent the group moving all at once about 10 m towards the river. Then poof! No Brits left.

Of course, changing the exit area as suggested will then put the Brits at an ever greater disadvantage in the scenario.

Suggest giving the Brits some HMGs and decent mortar support to help tray and balance this thing out a bit.
