Wacht am Rhein - Round 1 - Combat Mission: Final Blitzkrieg

The scenario is a quick battle, so no real worries about balancing. Sadly in the game i played however two of the three allied tanks fell to shots from enemy tanks that could not see them. So just the usual CM spotting issues.

Not much cover for attacking Axis in set-up... think this in the end made it more of a fun game.

weapon2010 schooled my poor troops...

I suspect I was too "gentlemanly" in my purchases for this mirrored match-up. Not to sell my opponent short, as he clearly outplayed me. But I tried to take PzKpfw IV up against Sherman 76s and paid the price. Shoulda loaded up on Panthers and Tigers...

Difficult for the defender - lots of different avenues to attack and not a lot of great cover.

Raz - did you get the game results for GStockbridge and I - he surrendered both games so it was a total victory for both my Americans and my Germans
