Perhaps if the Axis got PZIV reinforcements rather than PZVs it would be excellent. Allied tanks end up stuck in mud or shot dead.

Maybe my bad play ;-) but feel the advantage is heavily with Axis due to superior tanks. Maybe if re-inforcements for axis scaled back would be better?? Played mirrored and both allied were wiped out.

Slightly Pro Axis IMO.
An upgrade to Sherman equipped with a 76mm main gun will balance it all right.

Good map and interesting forces but the allies need more infantry to take on a town that size. Also felt very outgunned in the tank duels with limited manouvre room due to ground conditions and built up town. Enjoyed it.

Great scenario. Lots of close-in fighting. Germans have some Panthers, but in close, they are vulnerable.

Firstly, all my comments should be seen as a novice player. I thought I was doing well at the start, but the mud was my first killer. I lost 3 x 76 shermans just to mud. The second is Panthers. This is a puzzle to difficult for me to solve.

Third is mirekm61 is a very good player. I am sure others would do better than me.

Panthers, buildings like bunkers, and getting stuck in the mud are three major obstacles working against the Americans. I'd might add that the American infantry is not the best Mixture. The Americans do not have enough assault teams to take the town but do have a plethora of M1919A4 teams which are better employed at a distance - not in close house to house fighting. Watch out for German Panther reinforcements which really tip the scale of the battle in favor of the Germans.
