Very hard scenario to try and root out the axis from the village and I'm afraid I failed miserably

Enjoyed the battle and the challenge of fighting into a built up area. The British side has a slight advantage owing to tank numerical superiority and loads of Bren/MMG carriers providing mobility and extra firepower. There is far too much artillery for a battle this size and the scenario would be much better if arty was cut by 50% for both sides.

Good map and good array of forces. For once the British get a good proportion of arty (realistically) and it is well needed. A battle of two halves with open ground to cross then a town to fight through.

Interesting map and situation. Given the resources available to the British side (which I played), it seems like they are given too much time to take the objectives while not suffering any penalty for heavy casualties.

Interesting defensive situation as the Germans, the length of time given and quantity of artillery supplied means it is very du=ifficult to hold the position. However I did enjoy the game as it's a great map.

length of scenario benefits British more than Germans - however still an interesting scenario to play.

Length of game should be cut in half .... way too long!

Thanks to Panzer Lehr for putting up a tough fight.
The length of this scenario, plus the amount of artillery available to both sides, but particularly the Brits mean this is a tough scenario for the Germans to win.
Would be more balanced if the Brits had less time to press their assault.
Plays CMBN (CW, MG, BP1), CMRT, CMFI + GL, CMFB

A fun battle and great tactical challenge for both sides, particularly the tank/infantry cooperation for the British. It would be better with less artillery but you can't have everything!

Cooperation between the British armour and infantry is key to this battle.
