CW-Europe **Rude Awakening - Cold War in Europe (A Stefan Campaign Series Modification)

[SW of Maintz, Germany] [H2H] [HYPO] [GD] The Soviets 90th Guards Tank Division continues its drive south of Maintz with the objective of gaining the Rhein before the cold weather sets in. In the process they over run several US Infantry units trying to establish a blocking force but they are quickly brushed aside. In the meantime a fierce air battle transpires over Germany with neither side gaining the upper hand. Air losses are high on both sides as the struggle for control of the skies goes on for another bloddy month. Fortunately for the Soviets, with the air superiority battle taking place, their ground units are able to run rough shode over the German plains that is until they run right into the US 2nd Armored Division-"Hell on Wheels" which is fully open for business!
