[Bir Gifgafa, Sinai Peninsula]:[H2H][HIS][CSL]: Bir Gifgafa was one of the various Egyptian army camps in the central Sinai, location of elements of the 4th Armoured Division to provide a counterattack force for the 2nd Infantry Division situated in Umm Qatef. Israel’s 60th Armoured Brigade led the advance through the central Sinai. AMX-13 light tanks in the lead as it approached the Egyptian camp. A battle of maneuver commenced as the Israeli's soon realized the armament of the AMX-13's was not enough to penetrate the frontal armour of the Egyptian T-55's scattered around the camp. Israel's tank force in this one is a mix of great tanks and crappy French AMX-13's. The Egyptians have a large force of T-54's. I only had 2 operational tanks at the end of the scenario but my tanks held his forces off long enough to deny him all but 1 victory point. Tough for the Israeli's to break in to the Egyptian base.
