[Gush Etzion, Israel]: [SIDE B/H2H][HIS][CSL]: The Etzion Bloc was a collection of four villages southwest of Jerusalem. Skirting along one of the primary logistics routes for the Arab militias, Abdel Kader el-Husseini, with approximately six hundred Arab irregulars attempted to capture the group of villages. The primary force aimed at capture the primary village of Kfar Etzion while sending secondary forces on diversionary attacks on the other villages. The settlers and civilians of the Etzion Bloc, supported by a reserve Palmach company, were prepared for the attack. [ALL: NOVV][NONE][1.00]

Tough challenge for the Jordanians,Poor strategy perhaps?, but no firepower against the fortifications.

The Israeli's have some very strong "Blocks" that they can hideout in. Strong points that the Arabs looked to have a very difficult time taking.
