Calvados Coast, North of Caen: June 6th, 1944. (Scenario Size: Corp. Allied Human vs Axis AI, Head to Head or Team Play) The British had arguably the larger job during the intial D Day objectives; they were expected to land on three adjacent beaches, consolidate into a contiguous front and take Bayeax in the west and importantly Caen in the east. These large towns/cities were well inland and expected to be taken coup de main style by fast moving armour columns with mounted infantry. Additionally the 6th Airborne had to secure the landings left flank by capturing the crossings on the Orne River while denying the Germans the chance to counterattack from the south or east. This scenario covers the complete British landings on June 6th, the initial exploitation phase and German response.

Enjoyable scenario with options for both sides. The points favor the Allies if they manage their losses and advance at a fair rate. Best played by swapping sides and seeing who gets the higher point score as Allies.
'Millions died or suffered in the mud of Flanders between 1914-18. Who remembers them? Even those with names on their graves are by now unknown soldiers.' - Mier Ronnen, Jerusalem Post, 1933 Gris

Be careful, on the Allied side, the number of units is very large and requires a lot of time to play the turn.On the German side, the game is fairly static and primarily involves inflicting as much damage as possible. Reinforcements are used to prevent the Allies from winning, or even to win if they manage to retake one or more objectives.
