Jones' hard-pressed Rebs in front of Sharpsburg. Suddenly, A.P. Hill's "Light Division" appeared "out of nowhere". Making a confused situation even worse, many of the Rebels were outfitted in newly "requisitioned" Federal uniforms from the stockpiles they had captured in Harpers Ferry.
