Short description:
'A Risky Mission' is a scenario based on historical Allied seaborne assault on Los Negros Island conducted by 2nd Squadron of 5th Cav. Rgt. I tried to include original OOB's and leader names, but do not manage to gather enough confirmed information to be sure that they are correct.

The original goal of a landing group was to create and secure a beachhead for main landing force, which was expected a faw days later. However, the scenario was slightly changed to add playability and excitement. I decided to include the operation of capturing an airfield in it, which is far more difficult than the landing alone.

The scenario was balanced in the way, that the player should capture all (or nearly all) objectives to claim Major Victory. Merely landing on beaches and securing the beachhead results often in a Draw result. So, choose your targets carefully and use your troops wisely, if you would like to beat Japs, as any reckless action may result in heavy losses.

Personaly, I find this scenario challenging. ;-)
