Situation: The Guards Armoured Division had been organized into two main battlegroups, the Grenadiers and the Irish-Coldstream. You command an element of one of the tank-infantry teams of the Grenadiers battle group.

Mission: It is the fourth day of Operation BLUECOAT. We are through the German front line, and the armoured divisions are now desperately trying to exploit our gains. No. 2 Company of the 1st Grenadier Guards, a Motor Battalion, has reoriented its advance, moving eastward from Catheolles. The next objective in our way is the hamlet of Drouet. Clear Drouet of the enemy.

Support: Company headquarters, with a handful of the halftracks, as well as a troop of Sherman tanks, will arrive in five minutes. We're moving too fast for artillery, and the overcast is preventing air support from flying.

Reinforcements: No other reinforcements are expected.

Enemy Forces: We have smashed into elements of at least two different German divisions. Expect the remnants of the 752nd Grenadier Regiment, an Army formation, as well as retreating elements of the 9th SS Panzer Division "Hohenstaufen", possibly with tank support.
