I had a lot of fun playing this. As is common for a scenario this size, there are a large number of options for strategy. In our scenario, the Soviets staged a strong, almost suicidal headlong advance, and maintained the tempo throughout the entire game. It slowed a bit when they began taking some armor losses, but from beginning to end, the Soviets had tactical control of the areas of the map that they frequented. Strategic control was a little harder to come by, as a series of Finnish feints and ambushes from units left behind reasserted themselves later and wreaked some havoc on russian lines, destroying some artillery and HQ's in the process. Good fun.
Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy.
