There are challenges for both sides, but the Moscow defenses are tough to break through in time and depth. The axis player probably needs to attack from all sides to spread out defenders and there are plenty of German units, otherwise the Soviet player can cycle unit into the outskirts of the city. Also, avoiding quick defeat of the mobile forces outside the city is important for the Soviets.
