As with most SF 2 battles, this one is extremely difficult for the Syrians to win. This is a night battle and the Dutch have better night vision - so they engage the Syrians, but the Syrians struggle to see who is shooting at them.
Also, the Dutch jeeps have MGs and Grenade launchers whereas the Syrian jeeps are just jeeps that they must dismount from.
I felt that the scoring was off in that the Dutch lost 3 vehicles and soldiers, but the Syrian score was 0 points - I guess that they did not lose enough....
