My plan was to form an encirclement with the cavalry (as advised in the Design notes) and combine the infantry by pushing with the main force through northwestern forest. My enemy very deftly didn't attack the Russian position directly, but broke the encirlement from the northeast and then pivoted the main attacktowards exit objectives from the east.
Masses of Russian infantry were enough to block the exit objectives, but I took massive casualties (including majority of cavalry) that almost pushed the result in to a draw.
