This is a good battle. The Ukrainians have more men and vehs than the Russians, but they must cross open ground and traverse minefields. My opponent had 2 Russian tanks in excellent firing positions that inflicted very heavy damage on my forces.
The scoring machine seems broken on the Ukrainian side though. I had touched Woodline 1 and passed through it commpletely. The game recognized the touch, but did not award the victory points at the end of the battle.
I also touched Woodline 2, and then cleared the trenches and worked my way completely through the woodline. The game did not acknowledge that I had touched the woodline and it also did not award any victory points. The missing points affected the final battle scoring.
