An interesting game. As the Americans, my opponent was constantly probing for weak spots. For me, as the Germans, I fought a game of crisis management to make sure I could counter the American probes. I did anticipate some of the American moves and pre-plotted my artillery well. I had scouts out across the map, but half way into the battle I was surprised by the appearance of US forces in an area where they could only have appeared on the battlefield as reinforcements. My opponent played well and I did my best to break his infantry when I could pin them down. In the end, I could not hold Marmion Farm and I made a few errors in my defense of the farm and with a couple of other decisions I made during the scenario. Nonetheless, I did enough damage to his troops while stopping him from taking the other victory locations, which at the end of the day gave me the tactical win.
