Charleroi and Chatelet expertly defended by the Prussians. The French could not cross the river. Insufficient forces on the other side to press the case, especially when Allied cavalry showed up on the flank.
My opponent did the best that could be done, but as it was, you blow up three or four of those bridges near Charleroi, speed forces to the front and the French get necessarily stuck.
