The French have an overwhelming advantage in numbers. And with a number of leaders, are difficult to rout. It is pretty much a French walkover. However the VP's needed to win are way too high. The Prussians were surrounded and almost wiped out by the end, but it remained a draw. With the two new optional rules on it became rather a French romp towards the end, with Prussian units routing when trying to move; and separated units unable to melee.
