I placed mines up the main road, and used TRP for artillery on probable locations of German advances. I lightly defended all other locations except the crossroads, where I deployed my 3 M-10 TD's in a defensive position. Tris made great use of artillery, and had I not positioned my M-10's where they were, I think he would have had an easy time taking that position, since all my infantry units were decimated and broken.
