Tense all the way through, but especially so near the end when it looked like the Rebs might break the line and seize a hill full of guns. Luckily, enough battered Union regiments returned from running to form a hodgepodge line. Unable to completed the assault, Rebs were exposed and killed by the hundreds by the guns.
