RE: Russo - Ukraine War Mod
From what I recall, main maps are linked to the game the map goes with. So I don't think you can take a map from one to another, even PzC to PzC. OOBs can be. Without restricting maps, I imagine the fear is someone would use the free demo, or buy a single game, and copy all the other games in the series to play everything. Don't know that but it makes sense.

RE: Russo - Ukraine War Mod
Hi guys, after not being able to transfer maps from one game to another, I decided to change the scenario and the thread name from Russo - Ukraine conflict to the WW3 hypothetical scenario.

So this is an introduction to the hypothetical conflict that could happen after the war in Ukraine ends, and the basis for further scenarios development.

''It's 2024, and Russia has just won a war in Ukraine after secretly mobilizing 1 million men. As a result of their victory, the Russian blitzkrieg continued, and soon after, Poland also capitulated, and Russia is now poised to attack the German border. The border is defended by the German Army, along with remnants of the Ukrainian and Polish armies.

The Russian military, led by General Valery Gerasimov, has assembled a formidable force to invade Germany. The force includes the 1st Guards Tank Army, the 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division, and the 27th Independent Guards Motor Rifle Brigade. They are supported by the 6th and 8th Airborne Assault Brigades and the 76th Guards Airborne Division.

On the other side of the border, the German Army is led by General Eberhard Zorn. The German forces include the 1st Panzer Division, the 3rd Panzer Division, the 10th Panzer Division, and the 12th Panzer Division. They are also supported by the 1st Paratrooper Division and the 1st Mountain Division. The Ukrainian and Polish forces are also present, but their numbers are greatly diminished after the recent war.

The initial Russian attack is aimed at the city of Gdańsk, where the German Army has positioned a large number of troops and tanks. The Russian 1st Guards Tank Army, supported by the 6th and 8th Airborne Assault Brigades, launches a surprise attack on the city from the north. The German Army is caught off guard, but they quickly mobilize their forces to counter the attack.

The battle for Gdańsk is intense, with both sides taking heavy casualties. The Russian tanks prove to be a formidable force, but the German Army's anti-tank weapons are able to hold them off. The Ukrainian and Polish forces also join the fight, launching attacks from the east and south.

Meanwhile, the Russian 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division and the 27th Independent Guards Motor Rifle Brigade launch an attack on the German city of Frankfurt an der Oder, located further south. The German 3rd Panzer Division is tasked with defending the city, but they are outnumbered and outgunned. The battle for Frankfurt an der Oder is fierce, with the German Army taking heavy losses.

As the fighting continues, both sides begin to bring in reinforcements. The Russian 76th Guards Airborne Division is dropped behind German lines, causing chaos and confusion among their ranks. The German Army responds by deploying the 1st Paratrooper Division to counter the airborne assault.

The battle for Gdańsk eventually turns in favor of the German Army, thanks in part to the valiant efforts of the Ukrainian and Polish forces. However, the battle for Frankfurt an der Oder is a different story. Despite their best efforts, the German Army is eventually overwhelmed by the Russian forces.

With Frankfurt an der Oder under their control, the Russian Army continues to push westward, towards Berlin. The German Army, along with their Ukrainian and Polish allies, are now faced with the daunting task of defending their homeland against an enemy that seems unstoppable.

And so the stage is set for a massive and brutal conflict, as two powerful armies clash in a battle for control of Europe. The outcome of this war will have far-reaching consequences for the world, and the fate of millions hangs in the balance.''

Expect new unit graphics for all sides involved very soon, and of course, give your honest opinion about this introduction to new scenario lines. Would you change anything, and would it be interesting to play such a hypothetical ww3 scenario in Europe?

RE: Russo - Ukraine War Mod
As suggestion, use national flags in unit portrait with unit´s insignia when is know.

For Ukraine units maybe instead all blue counter, use a half blue half yellow counter, like the used inf Libian units in italy or the australian troops, and in Rusia... diference when is possible the units (Wagner, naval or airborne units... guards and even reservist).

For me an interesting point in the idea behind the game is... what about war after 1 year of combat? something i miss in MC is scenarios covering +30 with both sides using a lot of reserve units, with a small core of units from first days of war.

And is possible play with multi nation formations, brigades-regiments-battalions to create franken divisions.

The idea behind it is very interesting and maybe with option to be a total new title, good job.
