New HPS Ancient Game Bronze Age
I see on the Scenario Design Center site that a new ancient game is being released tomorrow.  Its Bronze Age warfare.
Very excited.

Dont know why I have never seen pre release advertising for the game?

Thank you. Really surprised at the lack of "official" news... nothing on the HPS site either.

Their press release email wasn't overly detailed, however to be fair - it pretty much said it was coming out 1st November, and had a packet of screenshots. I don't know that those along say all that much, so I just put up their cover image -and did it because Paul's a good guy who gave me a fair bit of content for his series some years ago.

From their email:

Release on 1 November 2022

Hello all,

HPS Simulations is proud to announce the release of Bronze Age Wars, a Paul Bruffell game published by HPS. The game covers numerous battles from the era 1650 to 660 BC, when armies clashed across the Middle East from Egypt to Assyria.

Please use the attached e-media kit as you see fit in your coverage. As always, you have permission to use any of the materials in the kit.

UPC: 7 13061 00907 2
Price: $49.95 (CD/Thin Case); $39.95 (Download)
Game can run on Windows 7 and upwards.
Minimum system requirements: 700 MB Hard Drive

Take care,

Joseph Miranda

Is the engine the same as the other games in the series, if not can we expect an update for the entire series?

Great question.

From the HPS website "In terms of presentation and functions, Bronze Age Wars contains all the features of previous Ancient Warfare games. So players familiar with the series can jump right in"

RE: New HPS Ancient Game Bronze Age
Wow, had no idea this series was still being worked on, great news! AND I see a map editor was released some time ago, guess I was asleep at the helm.

Can anyone whom purchased share what nations are available in game? Obviously Hittites Assyrians Egyptians from the screen shots… what about Mycenaeans etc?

I hope we will see further games east of 1 AD , crisis of the 3rd century, Foederate Rome , Julian’s campaigns. We will need a special graphic for Xenobia!

Cheers!
